Adding New Dimension for Facebook

The most popular social networking site Facebook has just finished a deal to acquire mobile photo sharing app Instagram for approximately $1 billion in cash and stock for the first time Facebook has bought with a huge sum of money. No doubt it’s exciting news for all its concerns and fans all over the world.

Instagram was only launched in October, 2010 by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger initially just for the iPhone before being offered as Google's Android operating system and chalked up five million downloads in just six days. Instagram is a mobile sensation that counts twitter co founder Jack Dorsey. It has proven hugely popular and is used by more than 30 million users uploading 5 million new pictures everyday. The users can apply 17 filters to the pictures without any cost changing the colour balance to expose a new look.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg says, “It is an important milestone for Facebook because it’s the first time we have ever acquired a product and company with so many users. We don't plan on doing many more of these, if any at all.” as he is deputizing a huge number of fans and users of Facebook all over this planet. Besides Mark Zuckerberg is uncompromising to continue to develop Instagram as a separate brand and has pledged to allows it to post to social networks. The negative response came despite efforts by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to assure Instagram users that they would keep "the ability to post to other social networks, the ability to not share your Instagrams on Facebook if you want, and the ability to have followers and follow people separately from your friends on Facebook."

On the other hand this is sad news for Amazon because Instagram was good for Amazan’s web service. It’s not that Instagram was for Amazon reputation but well for their service so far.

Though many of critics have not granted this deal positively but we believe this deal will bring about great tidings for Facebook with in a short time. Zuckerberg says, "We will try to learn from Instagram's experience to build similar features into our other products," Zuckerberg said in the statement. "At the same time, we will try to help Instagram continue to grow by using Facebook's strong engineering team and infrastructure."

So, it is a good sign for all the Facebook fans, users and concerns that will add a new dimension in the popularity of Facebook which is cleared from Zuckerberg’s statement.
